If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I would love to visit Singapore. As a Korean American who lives in a melting pot country, I am fascinated by the cultural diversity that Singapore offers. I am particularly drawn to its harmonious coexistence of different cultures, languages, and traditions, and I would love to immerse myself in the multicultural atmosphere.

What hobbies or interests do you have outside of work?

I have developed a passion for golf in recent months! It has become a favorite hobby of mine, and I eagerly anticipate playing every weekend. Golf provides a great opportunity for me to spend quality time with my fiancé, fostering a healthy sense of competition while enjoying each other’s company on the course.

What are some important skills or traits that you believe are essential for success in your role?

I believe that comprehensive thinking, effective time management, and strong attention to detail are essential for success. As we handle clients’ assets, it is crucial to approach tasks with a comprehensive mindset, considering various factors and potential implications. Time management skills are vital for executing requests efficiently and meeting deadlines, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction.

What do you enjoy most about working with clients?

I enjoy the opportunity for day-to-day conversations above all. Building relationships with clients goes beyond the professional realm, allowing for personal connections to form. It’s rewarding to establish a rapport with clients and share both professional and personal aspects of our lives, fostering a sense of camaraderie and trust.

What is something people might be surprised to learn about you?

When they learn that I moved to the United States in 2008 and was an international student for over 15 years. After completing my college education, my family decided to move back to South Korea, but I made the decision to stay. As it can be a significant undertaking to establish oneself in a foreign country, the experience has shaped my perspective and allowed me to embrace diverse cultures and adapt to new environments with resilience.
