Nick Nejad, CFA®

As the Chief Investment Officer at Beverly Hills Private Wealth, Nick plays a pivotal role in portfolio construction and security selection, diligently identifying pockets of investment opportunity while attempting to avoid areas of undue risk. He takes great pride in building and managing tailored client portfolios and conducting in-depth research on individual securities and funds. His commitment to excellence also extends throughout the organization, as he actively participates in various operational and service functions across the firm.

Prior to joining Beverly Hills Private Wealth, Nick held the position of Director of Investment Research at KCS Wealth Advisory, where he oversaw the investments of a $400 million RIA spanning equities and credit globally. Earlier in his career, he gained institutional investment experience at Hotchkis & Wiley Capital Management, a prominent value-oriented fund manager headquartered in Los Angeles. He began his professional journey by analyzing public equity opportunities for a $2 billion global value manager.

Nick holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®). His passion for investing started early, and he has shared his insights in the field by contributing to reputable platforms and publications. Outside of his professional life, Nick enjoys various physical activities such as basketball, running and tennis. In addition, he dedicates his free time to volunteering for several reading and rescue organizations.
